Dear Parents, and Students,
I am excited and looking forward to another fun filled year! I will be teaching 6th and 7th grade Physical Education/Health classes this year.
During Physical Education classes, students will be engaged in a variety of games and learning fundamental sports skills. These activities will enhance their motor skills, intellect and motivate them to be active, and develop healthy habits for a lifetime. In Health class, students will learn the importance of proper nutrition, staying safe and developing healthy foundations. These are just several of the many topics that we will focus on this year during Health class.
While at Charles, we strive for our students to achieve the highest goals that are attainable...in fitness, well-being and academics. Charles Middle School is the Pride of the North East!
A little about me:
I graduated for North Georgia College, with a degree in Middle Grades Education. I have had the wonderful opportunity to move and live in many different States and Countries courtesy of my husband’s job. I have been teaching for many years and have spent the last 4 years here in El Paso ISD. I have a wonderful husband and three great children. My oldest is a sophomore at Texas State, my middle child is a sophomore at Chapin High and my youngest is a 6th grader. We have three pugs that round out our family. During my free time I love to read, exercise and cook. I am very excited to be your Physical Education teacher this 2016-2017 school year.
My Conference period is from 2:00-2:45 daily. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns!
